Contrairement à la conclusion des auteurs, les observations présentées ne remettent nullement en cause le modèle de silicification des Sables de Fontainebleau après le dépôt des calcaires de la couverture par écoulement de nappes phréatiques.
Abstract
Contrary to the authors' conclusions, the observations presented in this note do not invalidate the model by which the silicification of the Fontainebleau Sandstones resulted from the flow of phreatic groundwater following the deposition of the limestone cover.
